CONTENTS:
Halloween and place prepositions
DESCRIPTION:
The students are divided in two groups. The
members of one group will have to cover their eyes with a scarf and
stand up in different places of the classroom. The other have to dress
up themselves:
- The witches will have to walk on a broom.
- The Ghosts: dragging some chains.
- The skeletons: dragging some bones
- The Frankensteins: walking with big heavy boots.
When the game starts, the "monsters" have to walk around the class.
Everybody must be very silent. Then, all the monsters have to stay next
to one of the students with the eyes closed. They can stay behind, next
to or in front of the other student.
Then, the students with the eyes closed have to ask:
- Is there a ghost next to me?
- Is there a Frankenstein in front of me?
- Is there a witch behind me?
- Etc.
If they are right, they exchange roles with the monster. Otherwise,
they will have to continue the game with the eyes covered.
NOTE: if you don't have all the material,
you can make the game just with ghosts. The students with the eyes
closed have to guess if the ghost is behind, next to or in front of them. |
