The course is about to start. It is important to prepare our first lessons
properly:

We must establish the rules and routines that
we will follow during the course.

We can (and should) create a relaxed
atmosphere that will facilitate students' further learning. I mean that if
we introduce some games, songs and jokes at the beginning, students will
lose the fear to speak in English.

We can promote a good relationship between the
students. This will be an advantage for further interaction activities.

It is the best moment to introduce contents
such as: introducing oneself (name, age, origin, hobbies, etc), making
questions, etc.
